It’s time to pack Valentine!
This box is just about right.
Ha! Just kidding!
Today is Wednesday, August 11, 2010. It’s 9:24 p.m. and I just got off the phone with George, who’s birthday it is. Michael is in the kitchen packing up our dishes and I am trying to come up with content to schedule for posting so my Internet Friends won’t forget I exist just when I need their thoughts the most. Because as you read this, it’s Tuesday, August 17th, and we are loading up our truck. Onward and upward.
Tomorrow we start our drive across the country, me and Mike in a truck with two dogs and a python. It’s going to be quite an experience. We have our camera, and hopefully we remembered to pack the charger. We won’t have any internet access, except for what I can get through my BlackBerry. I’m sure there will be plenty of blog-worthy material being generated over the course of our cross-country drive, but it will all have to wait until we arrive and unload at our destination. Whenever that is. We have no idea.
I’ve scheduled content to auto-post for the next two weeks, so you won’t get completely bored, but none of it is related to where we are or what we’re doing right now in real life, since I don’t have the ability to blog about the future. It would be cool if I did though, wouldn’t it? If you’re looking for real-time updates as to how we’re doing on the road, I’ll be tweeting daily here. Wish us luck!
